When you sit on the throne of the Sovereign Self you are self-governing, powerful and move through the world with grace. You act in alignment with your Soul’s purpose and remember the responsibility and power you hold as author of your own life story. Through the doorways of writing, ritual and time at the Sauvie Women's Community we'll have the opportunity to connect to the rich inner landscape of our own sovereignty.
Sauvie Women's Community is a growing collective of women who gather to embody ancient women's ways. We endorse earth-loving practices by striving to reduce our footprint, creating natural medicines and cleaning products from plants grown here on the land, growing food to sustain our bodies and spirits, and engaging in daily spiritual practices that pay homage and give gratitude to the trees, plants, animals, and other beings that live in our environment. We provide a space for women to gather and share their gifts with each other freely. So far we have had gatherings where women have shared about women's writing, shamanism, SoulCollage, medicine of our on-site tipi called Corn Woman, and womens' circling. We are actively seeking women who would like to share their gifts, volunteers to help with farming, event planning, research, and animal care (we care for the bodies of 4 goats and 11 chickens), and donations of furniture and art to decorate our gathering space. We welcome all who identify as women and want to explore living in the indigenous feminine. For more information about the Sauvie Women's Community, contact:firstname.lastname@example.org
